Global Five / Big Five to Jung Type Correlations
Approximate relationships between the five Global Five / SLOAN dimensions and the four Jung-style personality dimensions.
The Global Five measures Extroversion, Emotional Stability, Orderliness, Accommodation, and Intellect. Jung-style systems use four dimensions: Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Perceiving.
Because the Jung model has no direct Emotional Stability dimension, a single Jung type generally corresponds to two SLOAN types: one Calm and one Limbic.

These relationships are correlations, not exact translations. In particular, the Jung Thinking/Feeling and Intuitive/Sensing dimensions appear to combine more than one underlying personality tendency. Thinking/Feeling overlaps with Accommodation, Intellect, and Emotional Stability, while Intuition/Sensing overlaps with Intellect and Orderliness.

Why two SLOAN types per Jung type? The first and second SLOAN types in each pair have the same Extroversion, Orderliness, Accommodation, and Intellect pattern. They differ only on Emotional Stability: Calm (C) versus Limbic (L). The four-letter Jung framework does not specify this dimension.

Important Limitation
These matches should not be treated as a one-to-one conversion system. Two people with the same Jung type can differ substantially in Emotional Stability, and they may also fall near the midpoint of one or more Global Five dimensions.
The Global Five is dimensional: a person can be strongly, mildly, or only marginally Social, Organized, Accommodating, or Inquisitive. The 16 Jung labels compress those differences into four binary preferences. The correlation table is therefore best understood as a map of typical overlap, not a rule that determines one type from the other.
